New Character Details Revealed For Marvel's LOKI Series
We’ve got some new details to share with you regarding Marvel’s upcoming Loki series. These new pieces of info involve some details for a few of the characters that we’ll see in the series including one of the lead roles that will star opposite Loki.
Some of the more recent news involving the series is the addition of Owen Wilson and Gugu Mbatha-Raw in unspecified roles. There’s also a rumor that the series will include Kang the Conqueror. While we don’t know who exactly Wilson or Mbatha-Raw are playing, The Illuminarti has shared some character details that offer some insight into who they and other actors will be playing in the series. Here’s the breakdown:
Male Lead – There is no age specified. Looking for name talent. Likely with sense of humor. This role will have options for the series and for film. The role needed for 5 or 6 episodes.
Female 2 – Looking for a female in the 30 to late 50’s age range. This role is open to all races. Needed for 6 episode run.
Casey – Open to any ethnicity or gender. Casey is a good natured, yet exhausted intern. Extremely likeable. Great comedy skills. Casey’s entire career has been spent indoors and always does things by the books even when things are out of their control. A supporting character needed for 4 episodes
John – John is male. Open to all ethnicities in the 27 to 36-year old range. Contentious and combative soldier with an axe to grind. Presumptuous and ominous. A supporting role. Needed for 4 episodes
I imagine that the Male Lead character is who Owen Wilson is playing and Gugu Mbatha-Raw could take on the role of either Female 2 or Casey. It’s speculated that these characters listed above will be a part of the TVA or Time Variance Authority.
There was a TVA logo spotted in Marvel’s Super Bowl trailer for the upcoming Disney+ shows. The Time Variance Authority are basically time cops who patrol the timeline and take[down criminals abusing the stream. It would make sense to features this group in Loki as the title character will be traveling through different periods of time affecting some important moments of history.
Wilson has been rumored to be playing Justice Peace, who leads the TVA organization. This could be the Male Lead role, Then there are the other roles, who seem to signal that there will be an office setting in the show.
We don’t have any confirmation on who exactly these characters are, so this is mostly just speculation pieced together by some of the puzzle pieces that we have to work with.
