New Clip For Netflix's GHOST IN THE SHELL SAC_2045 and Season 2 is Confirmed
As we wait for the first season of Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 to drop on Netflix soon, we have a new clip to share with you from it along with news that Season 2 has been confirmed.
The original plan was for the series to have two-seasons each consisting of 12-episodes. I thought it was already confirmed, but apparently now it has really been confirmed. The first season of the anime series is set to drop on April 23rd and Season 2 is expected to premiere later in 2020 or early 2021.
The series is set in the year 2045, “the world has entered a systematic ‘Sustainable War.’ Hired as a mercenary unit, the former members of Japan’s elite Section 9 are faced with the sudden appearance of ‘Post-Human’ a being with tremendous intelligence and physical capabilities.”
Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 is being directed by Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed) and Kenji Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Ultraman), and newcomer Ilya Kuvshinow is heading up the animation and character design for the series.
You can check out the new clip from the series below which features Motoko in a brain battle.
