New Clip For The Sci-Fi Epic THE CREATOR - "Did You Locate The Weapon?"
20th Century Studios’ has released a new clip for director Gareth Edwards’ upcoming sci-fi epic The Creator, which looks like it’s going to be an incredible action thriller. I’m really excited about this movie! The clip is titled “Did You Locate The Weapon?,” and it centers on John David Washington’s character talking about the weapon that he’s acquired. The weapon happens to be an AI robot in the form of a child.
The Creator “is set amidst a future war between the human race and the forces of artificial intelligence. Joshua (Washington), a hardened ex-special forces agent grieving the disappearance of his wife (Gemma Chan), is recruited to hunt down and kill the Creator, the elusive architect of advanced AI who has developed a mysterious weapon with the power to end the war…and mankind itself. Joshua and his team of elite operatives’ journey across enemy lines, into the dark heart of AI-occupied territory, only to discover the world-ending weapon he’s been instructed to destroy is an AI in the form of a young child (Madeleine Yuna Voyles).”
The movie also stars Ken Watanabe, Sturgill Simpson, and Allison Janney, and it will be released in theaters on September 29, 2023.
