New Details About STRAY GODS Live Streaming Event
Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical is a new game coming out from Summerfall Studios. In it you will control the course of Grace’s life as she navigates the world of Greek Gods. Not only will you make choices for Grace’s life, but your choices will also impact the musical numbers throughout the game. It sounds super fun and it’s a game I’ve been really excited for since I first heard about it a few years ago.
Summerfall Studios and Humble Games are teaming up to bring us a live stream event to showcase some of the music and vocal performances in the game. Myth and Music: An Evening with Stray Gods will feature voice director Troy Baker, who is also doing voice work for the game, Laura Bailey, and Mary Elizabeth McGlynn as well as other unannounced cast members, so you won’t want to miss seeing the other talent that will be in the game. There will not only be performances from these incredible voice actors, but there will be some more information and insights into the game.
The live stream will be held on April 12 at 7pm PT/April 13 at 1pm AET and will be hosted by Golden Joystick’s 2016 YouTuber award winner, Jesse Cox and premiere on his Twitch channel. You can register for the stream now and the game is currently available to wishlist on Steam.
I am so excited for this game. Although we don’t have a full cast yet, we know of some definite powerhouses in the cast. You may recognize Baker as Joel from The Last of Us games, Bailey has performed a large variety of roles including Critical Role and The Last of Us 2, and McGlynn’s work has been seen in Silent Hill. All three are very talented and I can’t wait to see who else is going to be featured in the game. This game has been a long time in the making and I’m really hoping that we get an official release date during this livestream.
