New Details and Trailer for DAWN OF THE MONSTERS

Way Forward and 13AM Games have announced new details regarding the kaiju beat ‘em up game, Dawn of the Monsters. First up, the release date has been pushed back to the first half of 2022 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. We now have details about the playable monsters:

Megadon: An enormous fire breathing lizard.
Ganira: A colossal crustacean who can summon minions.
Aegis Prime: A superhero with super combos.
Tempest Galahad: A massive mech with long range electrical attacks.

I’ll be honest, I’m sad that two of these aren’t kaiju, but I suppose having mechs in a game like this was inevitable. Pick your monster and then battle across the globe as part of DAWN (Defense Alliance Worldwide Network). Use your rage, cataclysm attacks, and executioner finishers to defeat hordes of monsters and earn DNA augmentations to power up stats and abilities. It sounds like a lot of fun and definitely reminds me of a souped-up Rampage except now you destroy a city in order to fight other monsters.
