New Details on Marvel's FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLIDER Series and Baron Zemo and Sharon Carter will be Involved
We’ve got some cool new details to share with you regarding Marvel’s upcoming Disney+ series Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Up until this point, all we really knew was that Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan are returning to reprise their roles.
We have now learned that the series will consist of six episodes and all of those episodes will be directed by Kari Skogland. She has directed episodes for shows such as The Punisher, House of Cards, The Americans, The Handmaids Tale, Vikings and more.
Deadline is also reporting that Daniel Bruhl and Emily Van Camp are in talks to reprise their roles as Baron Zemo and Sharon Carter. That’s pretty cool because I really liked these characters and I was hoping that we hadn’t seen the last of them.
As far as the story goes, the report says that Falcon “accepting the shield from Captain America at the end of Avengers: Endgame will figure into the miniseries, but the studio had no comment on where it goes.”
I don’t know about you, but this sounds exciting to me! I was already on board with the series, but now that Zemo and Agent 13 are said to be coming back, I can’t wait to see what the story will entail!
The Falcon and The Winter Solider miniseries will air on Disney+ in August 2020.
