New Details on That STAR WARS: ECLIPSE Game, Which Is Three To Four Years Away From Release
Last week an awesome cinematic trailer dropped for a new Star Wars video game project titled Star Wars: Eclipse. It looked freaking’ cool but it’s no where near being released! In fact, this game won’t be released for at least three or four years!
This info comes from reporter and leaker Tom Henderson, who took to Twitter share some possible inside information on the game. He claims that Quantic Dream in Paris, which is where Star Wars: Eclipse is being co-developed, is having a hard time hiring developers for the game. It’s also reported that the game is being written by QD Paris and David Cage (Heavy Rain, Beyond Two Souls) is very much involved.
Here’s the Tweet that was sent out with the info:
The game is set during the High Republic era, and it’s described as “an intricately branching action-adventure game that can be experienced in many ways, and puts the destinies of multiple playable characters in your hands.”
Here are some of the other details that have been shared on the official website:
See the galaxy through the eyes of an ensemble cast of multiple, charismatic playable characters, each with their own morality, personality, motivations, and impact upon each other and the story at large.
With all-new characters and environments, you have the power to make choices with consequences thanks to many outcomes in this deeply branching narrative.
In an uncharted section of the galaxy with never-before-seen species and planets to discover, this part of the Outer Rim is rife with opportunity – and political tensions that could alter the fabric of peace. What will you do?
It sucks we have to wait so long for this game to be released, but I’ll be looking forward to playing it when it is.
