New Details Revealed on The Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers Team Up In AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR
We've known for awhile that the Guardians Of The Galaxy and Avengers will cross paths in Avengers: Infinity War, but now (thanks to Fandango) we have some solid details that should really get folks excited! First let's hear from big Dave Bautista who says it's an all or nothing deal with the Guardians and their scenes:
"When we come onto set as the Guardians, we are the Guardians. Anybody stepping onto set with us has to deal with all of us. There are usually one or two Avengers. We are the Guardians, we come as that and carry a scene like that and we do business as usual, which is a lot of chemistry, a lot of interaction amongst ourselves. And the Russos were very encouraging of that. I think we’ve established ourselves and we deserve to be right up there with the Avengers. I think we’re just as strong, if not stronger, as a unit, ‘cause we’re a family."
That's awesome to hear, as I think the Guardians don't work when you split them up. Chris Pratt says there was no intimidation from the team arriving on set to stand side by side with The Avengers. Pratt then retracts his statement and says he did have one person he was intimidated by:
"[Okay] I was a little secretly intimidated. Chris Hemsworth, he’s so tall and handsome -- I had to go home and really look myself in the mirror and say, you know, there’s a possibility that you just might be one of those guys who mostly loves your wife but also kind of loves Chris Hemsworth a little bit too."
Fair enough. Unfortunately, we still have over a year until Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters but only a week until Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2! Get hyped!
