New DOCTOR STRANGE 2 LEGO Set Reveals Possible Details on a Big, Climactic Battle
There’s a new Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness LEGO set that been revealed, and it offers some possible details on what looks to be a big, climactic battle.
The LEGO set it called Gargantos Showdown, and it includes Doctor Strange, America Chavez, and Wong battling a huge, one-eyed monster on the side of a building in New York City.
Gargantos is a giant sea creature that made its debut in Marvel Comics’ Sub-Mariner issue 13 back in 1969. There have been rumors in the past that Namor the Sub-Mariner would appear in the Doctor Strange sequel, and with Gargantos making showing up, maybe that means Namor will actually show up as well. We’ll just have to wait and see. Regardless, this should make for a great action sequence in the film if this ends up being in it.
The Sam Raimi directed film stars Benedict Cumberbatch and he is also joined by Benedict Wong, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Rachel McAdams, who will be back as Wong, Karl Mordo, and Christine Palmer, respectively. Xochitl Gomez has also joined the cast as America Chavez.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is set to hit theaters on May 6, 2022.
