DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS Poster Features Several Different Versions of Characters
It is crunch time for the latest installment into the MCU. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is set to hit theaters on May 6th, and the hype train is at full speed. For all of Marvel’s secrecy surrounding the movie, they sure do like dropping hints to us and this poster falls in line with that. Check out this tweet that the Doctor Strange account released recently:
I love all of the promotion that they are doing for the film. I think that this may be the most revealing of all the posters so far. If you check it out there are multiple versions of the main characters in this. We get five Stranges, four Wandas, three Wongs and Mordos, and two America Chavezes and Christine Palmers. We get a better view of what each will look like in each of their universes and that is truly exciting.
I have thoroughly enjoyed Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange. The story arc of top of his game surgeon to just trying to prove himself wizard has been a lot of fun and super frustrating at times. The events of of No Way Home have been scrutinized to the extreme and here are my two cents. I believe that Strange knew how reckless it was but he was just trying to prove to himself and his compatriots that he has the power to be the true Sorcerer Supreme. No matter how grueling and humbling the training at Kamar-Taj were, he still has that cocky version of himself and sometimes it comes out to play. Now we are stuck in the mess we currently find ourselves.
I love where the franchise is going and I think that the promotions that we have been given on scratch the surface of what we will see in a week.
