New Dr. Seuss Baking Competition Coming To Amazon

Amazon is currently casting for an upcoming unscripted baking competition show based on the works of Dr. Seuss. Bakers will have to build amazing creations based on popular characters such as the Cat in the Hat and the Grinch. Produced by Amazon Studios, Dr. Seuss Enterprises, and Super Delicious the show promises to have some amazing culinary confections. Super Delicious has brought us shows such as Cupcake Wars, School of Chocolate, and Cake Wars among others. 

Given how gravity defying a lot of the illustrations in the works of Dr. Seuss are, this should be a really fun competition to watch. I’m excited to see how the bakers pull off some of these characters in new, creative ways. This sounds like the perfect family show for anyone with kids who have an interest in baking.

My kid and I love watching cake making videos and reading Dr. Seuss books together, so I’m very excited to share this show with them when it comes out. Which Dr. Seuss character are you most excited to see in dessert form? I’m pretty partial to Fox in Socks myself but I think that the Cat in the Hat should be really fun too.
