New EXPENDABLES 4 Photos Feature Jason Statham Fighting Iko Uwais
Jason Statham has shared a few new photos from the set of The Expendables 4 and it features the action star as Lee Christmas in a little bloody brawl with The Raid star Iko Uwais. It looks like they’re gonna have some fun little action scenes together! Uwais is playing the main villain in the movie.
While we don’t have any details on the story, it’s said that the movie will be a “no-holds-barred action film” and that it “will raise the stakes and be the biggest, most badass adventure yet.”
Stallone previously talked about his approach to the action of the film, explaining that they will be more “simplistic” and will put more of a focus on brute force. He says that the audience will “marvel” at the intensity of the action scenes, so that’s something to look forward to!
Scott Waugh (Need for Speed) is set to direct The Expendables 4, and it will start shooting in October. Spenser Cohen wrote the script, with revisions by Max Adams and John Joseph Connolly.
The movie also stars Sylvester Stallone, Megan Fox, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Andy Garcia, and Tony Jaa.
