New Featurette For ALADDIN Shows How The Vibrant World of the Story Was Brought To Life
Thanks to Disney, we’ve got a new featurette here for you to watch for Disney’s Aladdin. The new featurette takes us behind-the-scenes of the film and shows us what went into bringing the magical and vibrant world of the classic story to life on the big screen.
Even though I’m not really that excited for the movie, it’s still cool to see all of the hard work that went into designing the city and sets. I t looks like it would have been an incredibly fun production to be a part of.
The movie comes from director Guy Ritchie and here’s the synopsis:
Aladdin is the exciting tale of the charming street rat Aladdin, the courageous and self-determined Princess Jasmine and the Genie who may be the key to their future. Directed by Guy Ritchie, who brings his singular flair for fast-paced, visceral action to the fictitious port city of Agrabah, the film is written by John August and Ritchie based on Disney’s Aladdin.
Aladdin stars Mena Massoud as the charming scoundrel Aladdin; Naomi Scott as Jasmine, the beautiful, determined princess; Will Smith as the Genie; Marwan Kenzari as Jafar, the powerful sorcerer; Navid Negahban as the Sultan concerned with his daughter’s future; Nasim Pedrad as Dalia, Princess Jasmine’s free-spirited best friend and confidante; Billy Magnussen as the handsome and arrogant suitor Prince Anders; and Numan Acar as Hakim, Jafar’s right-hand man and captain of the palace guards.
The movie will be released on May 24th, 2019.
