New Featurette For Ang Lee's GEMINI MAN Focuses on How It Will Be The Most Immersive Cinematic Experience We've Ever Had
I’ve been hearing that director Ang Lee’s upcoming Will Smith action movie Gemini Man is an incredible cinematic achievement. I’ve noticed that a lot of people have been on the fence about this movie, but it sounds like it’s actually going to deliver one hell of a great film with a great story and will also be an action-packed thrill ride.
Well, we’ve got a new featurette for the film to share with you today that features the cast and crew talking about what will make this film the most immersive cinematic experience that we’ve ever had. There’s also some cool footage from the film along with some behind-the-scenes footage.
The film features an old version of Will Smith facing off with a younger version of himself. It’s described as follows:
Gemini Man is an innovative action-thriller starring Will Smith as Henry Brogan, an elite assassin, who is suddenly targeted and pursued by a mysterious young operative that seemingly can predict his every move.
In the process, the older, more seasoned version of the character is making an attempt to help the young clone of himself. The young version of Will Smith is a completely CGI character. They didn’t de-age the older actor, the visual effects team just created the younger version of his character. It’s pretty incredible stuff.
I’ve been impressed with what I’ve seen from the movie so far and I’m excited about seeing it. I’m just hoping that it will end up being as good as I’ve heard it is.
The movie also stars Clive Owen, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Benedict Wong, Gemini Man opens in theaters October 11th, 2019.
