New Featurette For Christopher Nolan's DUNKIRK Focuses on The Struggle of Filming; Plus Listen to The Score
A new featurette for Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk was released called "Weathering the Storm" and it focuses on the trials that Nolan and his team went through when shooting certain aspects of the film. In the end, the struggles they had to deal with just made the movie that much more amazing.
I've also included a track from the film's score that was composed by Hans Zimmer. You've heard bits and pieces of this score in the trailer already, but it's really quite powerful listening to the whole thing play through. It's really an incredible score!
The movie has been screened for select members of the press already, and the reviews have been extremely positive. What do you expect from Nolan, though!? The guy puts everything he's got into the films he makes and he's an extremely talented filmmaker that is doing amazing things with the films he makes.
Dunkirk was inspired by Operation Dynamo, which was a 1940 WWII mission that freed over 340,000 British and Allied troops who were trapped and surrounded by the Nazis in the French city of Dunkirk. It was one of the largest organized retreats in modern military history.
The film has an incredible cast that includes Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, Kenneth Branagh, Mark Rylance, James D'Arcy, and Harry Styles. Dunkirk is set to open in theaters later this month on July 21, 2017.
