New Featurette For GOTHAM Season 4 Teases The Scarecrow and Jim Gordon Will Be Hunting Down a Masked Bruce Wayne
Fox has released a new featurette for Gotham Season 4 and it teases a creepy new version of The Scarecrow. Looks like The Penguin will be the least of Gotham's worries! The villain will show the city of Gotham "what it means to fear." The promo also offers new shots of Bruce Wayne suiting up as the masked vigilante, The Penguin, Catwoman, Poison Ivy and more.
In an interview with DC All Access, executive producer John Stephens also talks about Jim Gordon's story arc. He explains that as Bruce Wayne suits up to go out and protect Gotham, Gordon will be going out to hunt him down.
Bruce Wayne is gonna go out there and start operating as a vigilante wearing a mask and everything, and we'll see him learning the skills that will one day be used as Batman. And then moving forward after that, Jim Gordon will realize that this vigilante's operating out there in Gotham somewhere and he goes, 'I'm going to hunt that guy down.' We have Jim Gordon and a masked Bruce Wayne going head to head.
You can't have anyone taking the law into their own hands! Because Jim Gordon would never do anything like that. He goes on to reveal the additional info:
In the first half of the season this year, Jim Gordon is going to try to loosen Penguin's hold upon Gotham. He does that by forming an alliance with Sofia Falcone, who Crystal Reed is playing, and the two of them work together to basically try to dethrone Penguin.
If you're a fan of Gotham it looks like there's a lot to look forward to! I know there are a lot of people that lost interest, but I'm still hooked and I'm looking forward to seeing how the story continues to play out.
Season 4 is set to preiere on Thursday, September 21st.
