New Featurette for M. Night Shyamalan's GLASS Breaks Down the Story and Characters
I’ve got a new featurette for M. Night Shyamalan's upcoming film Glass for you to watch today. It gives you a little rundown of the story and the characters that fill it.
I loved Glass. If you haven’t read my review yet, you can read it here. I know there are some critics out there that didn’t like the movie. But I thought the film fell right in line with the story that Shyamalan told in his last two films. It’s was a natural progression of those films, and the way it played out made complete sense to me.
I’m not sure what other people were expecting, but this is a pure Shyamalan film. If you are hoping to see something like what Marvel and DC are doing in Glass, that’s not what you’re going to get. Glass is a completely different kind of superhero and comic book movie just like Unbreakable and Split were.
In the end, I felt that the director delivered a strong story that brings his trilogy to an end. Obviously, not everyone is going to like it. But this is it. In the end, who cares what critics have to say about the movie. Just go see it for yourself and form your own opinion.
Following the conclusion of Split, Glass finds Dunn pursuing Crumb’s superhuman figure of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters, while the shadowy presence of Price emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men.
The movie will be released on January 18th, 2019. I also included some character posters below.
