New Featurette For The X-Men Series THE GIFTED Offers Insight on Some of The Mutant Characters

I'm excited about Fox's new X-Men series The Gifted. It looks like it will be a solidly good show filled with interesting characters. I'm curious to see how they will dive into these characters as the story plays out from episode to episode. That's one of the things I like about a good TV series, it allows for great character development if done right.

IGN has shared a new featurette for the series that offers us a better, more in-depth look at some of the mutant characters that will fill the series. Some of those characters include Thunderbird (Blair Redford), Polaris (Emma Dumont), Eclipse (Sean Teale), Blink (Jamie Chung), and a few others.

I just hope that the series lives up to the expectations.

THE GIFTED, from Marvel, tells the story of a suburban couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.

The Gifted premieres this fall.
