Exciting New Featurette From IMAX Takes us Behind The Scenes of DUNKIRK

We're a little over a week away from Dunkirk's arrival in theaters, but now we're getting a special look behind the camera of Christopher Nolan's latest and most anticipated film. This latest featurette comes compliments of IMAX. Its a new four-minute behind-the-scenes look at the incredible work on this movie.

In the video Nolan, producer Emma Thomas, and cinematographer Hoyte Van Hoytema discuss why they chose to film 70% of the movie in full IMAX format.

Dunkirk tells the story of the miraculous evacuation of Allied soldiers from Belgium, Britain and France, who were cut off and surrounded by the German army from the beaches and harbor of Dunkirk, France, between May 27th and June 4th, 1940, during Battle of France in Word War II. 

It was filmed on the actual beaches where the evacuation took place in Dunkirk, France.

Dunkirk hits theaters everywhere on July 21st.
