New FLINTSTONES Animated Adult Comedy Series in the Works at Warner Bros.
A new Flintstones series is being developed by Warner Brothers Animation and Elizabeth Banks’s Brownstone Productions. The series is described as a primetime animated adult comedy series based on an original idea featuring characters from the classic show. Do we need this? No. Do they care? No. I’m always hoping to be proved wrong with remakes or ideas that don’t sound fantastic to me though!
Usually when old kid content from my youth crops back up, I think, well, at least my kids will probably enjoy it. But this is an adult animated series. I just don’t think there’s a big enough audience for this type of thing. But who knows? Maybe it will be good, maybe even hilarious.
