New Footage From AMC's INTERVIEW WITH A VAMPIRE, BETTER CALL SAUL, KILLING EVE, TALES OF THE WALKING DEAD, and More

AMC Networks shared a new promo spot during the Super Bowl, and it highlights several new and returning shows that the network produces.

The spot offers new footage from the Anne Rice series Interview with the Vampire, along with footage from Better Call Saul Season 6, The Walking Dead Season 11, the upcoming anthology series Tales of the Walking Dead, Killing Eve Season 4, and more.

Some of the other shows include 61st Street, Dark Winds, Moonhaven, and That Dirty Black Bag. There’s a lot of exciting stuff coming from AMC, and I’m looking forward to watching several of these shows. One of the new shows that I’m most excited about, though, is Interview with the Vampire.

The series will consist of eight episodes, and they are looking toward a 2022 debut on both AMC and AMC Plus. The series stars Sam Reid as Lestat, Jacob Anderson as Louis, and Bailey Bass as Cludia.

AMC is looking to build a multiple-show universe around Anne Rice’s novels and Interview With the Vampire will launch it. The story centers on the vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac as he relates the story of his life to a reporter, in particular how he was turned into a vampire and then mentored by Lestat de Lioncourt.

Rolin Jones will serve as writer, executive producer, and showrunner on the series. Mark Johnson will executive produce under his overall deal with AMC Studios as well, with the late Anne Rice and Christopher Rice also executive producing. Alan Taylor will direct the first two episodes and serves as an executive producer.
