New Full Trailer For the Arrowverse "Elseworlds" Crossover - "A Crisis Is Coming"

The CW has released a new full trailer for the highly anticipated Arrowverse “Elseworlds” crossover event, and it offers fans an even better look at what is in store for the series! This next crossover series is kind of bonkers, and I’m really digging it!

The promo features some more new footage of The Flash (Stephen Amell) and Green Arrow (Grant Gustin) trying to navigate the unfamiliar lives they’ve been swapped into. We also see more of Batwoman (Ruby Rose), The Monitor (LaMonica Garrett), and Superman (Tyler Hoechlin).

In the series, The Flash and Green Arrow will find themselves going up against Doctor John Deegan (Jeremy Davis), who has the "Godlike" ability to reshape reality by The Monitor. This seems to pave the way for the introduction of a villainous version of Superman who is wearing a black suit.

When previously talking about the craziness of the series, Amell said:

"The crossover is f*cking bananas. It's crazy... I think that this will be the best crossover event that we do. And not just the best but the best by a really, really wide margin. And I think that last year was fantastic.

"'Crisis on Earth X', I think that's what it was called, that was pretty crazy and getting to play doppelgängers was pretty crazy. When Greg Berlanti first talked to me about why he wanted to do crossovers, it was because it's for the fans. It's so people can watch characters and scenarios that combine their favorite things on TV or introduce them to new things on TV. But you also get this license to do things that we could never do in the vacuum — especially on Arrow — that we can never do in the vacuum of just our show."

“Elseworlds” will air across three nights, and will launch on Sunday, December 9th on The Flash at 8pm. It continues on Arrow Monday, December 10th at 8pm and then finishes up on Supergirl Tuesday, December 11th at 8pm.

The epic 3 night DCTV "Elseworlds" crossover event begins Sunday December 9th with The Flash, continues on Monday with Arrow, and concludes Tuesday with Supergirl. Also appearing in the crossover are Superman, Lois Lane, and Batwoman.
