New Full Trailer For TRANSFORMERS ONE Focuses on The Rise of Optimus Prime and Megatron
Paramount Pictures has released another trailer for Transformers One, and it puts a focus on the rise of Optimus Prime and Megatron and how they went from brothers to arch enemies.
The trailer also shows less of the comedic elements of the film and more of the drama and action that we’ll see in the movie.
The people who have already seen this movie have loved it judging from the first reactions. I hope that the movie actually ends up being as good as its hyped up to be! I’m going in with low expectations.
This movie tells the “origin story of how the most iconic characters in the Transformers universe, Orion Pax and D-16, went from brothers-in-arms to become sworn enemies, Optimus Prime and Megatron.”
Director Josh Cooley previously teased that the movie will feature real danger and real stakes. He said that the film “has the epic scale and adventure and action that we know about Transformers films.”
He added: “There's a lot of danger. There's some real danger in this film. Yeah. And there's always that, like we talked about earlier, that ticking time bomb of when's this relationship going to fall apart between Orion and D-16.”
The film stars Chris Hemsworth as Orion Pax / Optimus Prime, Brian Tyree Henry as D-16 / Megatron, Scarlett Johansson as Elita-1, and Keegan-Michael Key as B-127 / Bumblebee.
Transformers One will hit theaters on September 20th.
