New Gameplay Trailer For ALIENS: DARK DESCENT Offers an Overview of Sci-Fi Horror Game
Focus Entertainment has released a new gameplay trailer for Aliens: Dark Descent. The trailer offers a detailed overview of the game’s story and gaming mechanics, which includes “a fully-fledged tactical campaign filled with tense moments, deep strategy, and terrifying revelations.” This actually looks like a pretty cool game and it even introduces a new Xenomorph!
In Aliens: Dark Descent, “the horrors and wonders of an authentic Alien narrative unfold through a cinematic campaign full of sinister secrets, iconic Xenomorphs and brand-new threats. A range of tactical abilities come into play to recruit, level up and command a squad of Colonial Marines in real-time and as one unit with intuitive controls on both keyboard & mouse and controller. Any command issued over comms is swiftly obeyed by the Marine best-equipped for the situation according to their abilities and equipment. Players will need to use their wits to navigate expansive, persistent and reactive levels. However, each marines’ vitals should be monitored cautiously — for death is permanent.”
Focus also shared some pre-order incentives on its website. If you purchase the $39.99 game on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, or PC before June 20th, you get the “Lethe Recon Pack” which comes with black armor for the player’s squad and a unique cat companion, which is a nod to Jones, the cat from Alien.
