New Games Announced for TurboGrafx-16 Mini from Konami

Fans of the classic TurboGrafx-16 should be happy. Konami is going to release the TurboGrafx-16 Mini with 50 games. 24 of those will be from the TurboGrafx-16 with the other 26 being from the PC Engine. The TurboGrafx-16 games will be in English and the PC Engine games will be in Japanese, so that’ll be interesting in my opinion. If you want to grab one of these, you can pre-order them starting now (July 15) with the release planned for March 19, exclusively on Amazon for $99.99. Here’s the full list of games:

In addition, three peripherals have been announced. You’ll be able to get a Turbo Controller that gives you “an automatic shooting function,” a multi-tap for multiplayer with up to four of your friends for a total of five, and an AC Adapter to charge your device.

The legendary TurboGrafx-16 console, originally released in Japan in 1987 as the PC Engine, is making a comeback! It's set to return in the form of the TurboGrafx-16 mini, a new compact model that comes preloaded with a selection of popular titles!
