New Image and Synopsis For Disney's RALPH BREAKS THE INTERNET: WRECK-IT RALPH 2
Disney Animation has released a brand new image from their upcoming animated film Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2. As you can see it shows off Ralph (John C. Reilly), Vanellope von Schweetz (Sara Silverman), and a host of what look to be the avatars of internet users. Ralph's looking a little worried!
We also have a new synopsis for the film to share with you that offers some insight into the story that the movie will tell.
Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 leaves Litwak’s video arcade behind, venturing into the uncharted, expansive and thrilling world of the internet – which may or may not survive Ralph’s wrecking. Video game bad guy Ralph (voice of John C. Reilly) and fellow misfit Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Sara Silverman) must risk it all by traveling to the world wide web in search of a replacement part of save Vanellope’s video game, Sugar Rush. In way over their heads, Ralph and Vanellope rely on the citizens of the internet – the netizens – to help navigate their way, including a website entrepreneur named Yesss (voice of Taraji P. Henson), who is the head algorithm and the heart and soul of trend-making site “BuzzzTube.”
From what I saw at D23 last year, it looks like it's going to be a hilarious sequel that fans of the first film are going to love. The movie is going to dive deep into Disney geek culture unlike any film has done before.
I've talked about a scene that I saw involving all the Disney princesses several times already, featuring all of the original voices actresses for the characters. That scene alone is worth the price of admission.
Rich Moore returns to direct the sequel and it's set to open up November 21st, 2018.
