New Image From WAKE UP DEAD MAN: A KNIVES OUT MYSTERY Featuring Daniel Craig and Josh O'Connor

A first look photo has been released from the upcoming third film in writer/director Rian Johnson’s Knives Out film series, titled Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery.

The pic features returning detective Benoit Blanc, played by Daniel Craig, as well as newcomer Josh O’Connor. The pair are standing in a cathedral, and Craig’s Blanc is sporting a new, longer hairstyle.

Plot details for the film–whose title comes from a U2 song on the 1997 album “Pop”–were not revealed.

The film features the return of Southern detective Benoit Blanc, played by Craig in his “most dangerous case yet,” joined by an all-star cast of suspects including O’Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack and Thomas Haden Church.

The standalone sequel follows 2019’s Knives Out and 2022’s Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.

Wake Up Dead Man will be released on Netflix and in theaters sometime later this year.
