New Images For Peacock's TWISTED METAL Series Offers First Look at Neve Campbell and Other Characters

Peacock has released a collection of new photos from its upcoming series adaptation of Twisted Metal and they offer a first look at several characters including the characters played by Thomas Haden Church and Neve Campbell. It also includes new images of Anthony Mackie’s character, John Doe and Samoa Joe’s Sweet Tooth.

The series follows a motor-mouthed outsider named John Doe, “who is offered a chance at a better life, but only if he can successfully deliver a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland. With the help of a trigger-happy car thief, he’ll face savage marauders driving vehicles of destruction and other dangers of the open road, including a deranged clown named who drives an all too familiar ice cream truck, Sweet Tooth.”

The other cast members include Mike Mitchell (The Tomorrow War, Love), Tahj Vaughans (P-Valley), Lou Beatty Jr. (A Million Little Things, NCIS), and Richard Cabral (Mayans M.C., American Crime). Will Arnett also provides the voice of Sweet Tooth.

Mitchell portrays Stu, “Mike’s best friend, the Rosencrantz & Guildenstern of this world, and together often find themselves to be more followers than fighters.”

Vaughans plays Mike, “Stu’s best friend, the Rosencrantz & Guildenstern of this world, and together often find themselves to be more followers than fighters.”

Beatty Jr. plays Tommy, “a grizzled and weathered cartographer who knows the dangers of the Wild Midwest.”

Cabral plays Quiet’s “overprotective brother Loud in the live-action video game adaptation.”

Cobra Kai writer Michael Jonathan Smith is developing the series, which is based on an original take by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (Deadpool, Zombieland). It’s said to be a high-octane action-comedy. Will Arnett is also a producer.
