Cool New Details on the Guardians of the Galaxy and Spider-Man Attractions Coming To Marvel Land at Disney Parks

We have some new information about a couple of awesome attractions coming to Disney parks in the near future. This info was released by Marvel at this last weekend’s New York Comic-Con, and I am so blown away by what they had to say!

First off, they revealed an awesome description of the attraction coming to Epcot in Florida next year called Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Here’s what they had to say about it:

When the family coaster opens in Epcot’s first “otherworld showcase,” visitors will find themselves in planetarium-like exhibition from the planet Xandar and then load onto the first attraction that launches backwards. Not only that, but the cars will rotate towards different story beats along the ride track to only heighten the cosmic adventure more. Plus, since this is Epcot, expect to find some real-world information about space and beyond in the preshow queue.

What?! I’m so excited about this! I want to ride this ride right now! This sounds incredible, and looks amazing too. I’ll include the concept art for the attraction below for you to check out.

Next up, we got a description of the new land heading to both Disneyland California and Disneyland Paris. Starting next year, fans will be able to explore The Avengers Campus. The land will include attractions, shopping, a restaurant, and “heroic encounters in the ruins of a former Sanctum Sanctorum and you never know who might show up.” The main feature for fans to experience will be the Spider-Man Experience “housed in the Worldwide Engineering Brigade — aka, WEB.” Here’s how that attraction is described:

Visitors to WEB will find themselves helping Spider-Man try and catch “spider-bots” that need to be web’ed-up. During the panel it was also explained that guests on the attraction will be able to shoot their own webs out of their wrists via immersive technology.

I just told my sons that, and they jumped up and down hugging each other and screaming. Same, boys…same. Like we’ve previously reported, there will also be a Quinjet ride, wherein fans can fight alongside their favorite superheroes in the land of Wakanda. One other cool part of the land is the restaurant Pym Test Kitchen. “The food there will feature items that have been ‘enhanced’ with Pym Particles, which means they might have been shrunk down in size, or grown to larger proportions, just like Ant-Man and Wasp themselves.”

This is just above and beyond. But what else would you expect from Disney? Which ride or attraction are you most excited about?!
