New Insight on WESTWORLD Season 3 which Includes Info on Aaron Paul's Character

If you have watched any of HBO’s hit series Westworld, then you know that showrunners Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy like to take you on a journey full of twists and turns. That is why it comes as no shock that they throw another one at us for season 3.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Nolan let us know that there won’t be as many twists in season 3. Here is what he had to say:

“This season is a little less of a guessing game and more of an experience with the hosts finally getting to meet their makers.”

I don’t know how to feel about this. I guess it will draw in more viewers to the show, but I really liked the guessing games throughout the first two seasons. Nolan also dropped an interesting nugget of how long the show will run:

“I love shows that find a groove and hang with it for 100 episodes — that was never this show, Nolan says. We always wanted every season to find our characters in radically different circumstances. And with a cast this talented, watching the metamorphosis of all these characters is one of the most fun parts.”

That statement alone gives us a huge look into the upcoming season, but the length of the series. First off, if you haven’t seen the series, stop reading right now.

Okay, at the end of season 2 we see Dolores leaving the confines of Westworld and entering into the real world. We know how her story arch changes, so who else is going to have a dramatic change? Also, it appears that Nolan and Joy have a definitive end to the series and it is going to be less than 100 episodes.

Now we are to the biggest mystery of season 3, Aaron Paul. Here is what Nolan had to say about him:

“Aaron’s character will challenge Dolores’ notions about the nature of humanity, Nolan says. He’s the type of person who doesn’t get to go to Westworld.”

Aaron plays a construction worker named Caleb and I cannot wait to see what he brings to the show.

The rest of the interview is interesting and worth checking out. Are you interested in seeing season 3, let us know what you think.
