New IT Featurette Focuses on The Unsettling Town of Derry and Wants You To Face Your Fears
Are you ready to see It!? I am, I can't freakin' wait! While we do wait until it comes out, New Line Cinema has released a new featurette called "Face Your Fears" for us to enjoy. It centers around the fictional town of Derry, Maine and how unsettling it is. For those of you familiar with the story you know that Derry has a very dark past and it's talked about in this latest featurette.
When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.
The movie was directed by Andrés Muschietti (Mama) and it stars Jaeden Lieberher (Midnight Special) as Bill Denbrough, Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things) as Richie Tozier, newcomer Sophia Lillis as Beverly Marsh, Jack Dylan Grazer (Tales of Halloween) as Stan Uris, Wyatt Oleff (Guardians of the Galaxy) as Eddie Kaspbrak, Chosen Jacobs (Hawaii Five-0) as Mike Hanlon, Jeremy Ray Taylor (42) as Ben Hanscom, and Bill Skarsgård as Pennywise.
The first of two films is set to be released on September 8th, 2017. I've heard nothing but great things about this movie, so chances are it's going to be the awesomely terrifying film adaptation that we were are hoping for!
