New IT Video Focuses on Bill Skarsgård as Pennywise The Clown and The Weird Control of His Face
If you're a fan of the big screen adaption of Stephen King's IT, you've got to watch this behind the scenes featurette. It focuses on Bill Skarsgård's Pennywise the Clown and the weird and crazy control that he has of his face. For example, that creepy bottom lip and the lazy eye are both things the actor could do without any assistance or digital effects.
Director Andrés Muschietti talks about this in the video below saying:
"Apart from being an incredibly talented actor he [Skarsgård] has an amazing control over his body and some weird control of his face in particular."
Skarsgård adds:
"I do this thing with my lip. It's a thing that I’ve been doing since I was a little kid and I always wanted to bring this lip thing into a character".
The actor then goes on to show his creepy lip and lazy eye trick. These are things he's always wanted to bring to a film character and Pennywise the Clown was obviously the perfect outlet for these strange talents.
I loved what Skarsgård brought to this evil character and I can't wait to see his return in IT: Chapter 2! If for some reason you can see the video below, click here to watch it on Games Radar.
