New JAY AND SILENT BOB REBOOT Clip Introduces "Iron Bob"
Kevin Smith’s Jay and Silent Bob Reboot is set to hit theaters later this week and to get the fans pumped up for what’s to come, the filmmaker shared a new clip from the film that I think you’ll enjoy. It features Silent Bob channeling Tony Stark as he is introduced as “Iron Bob”. There’s also a fun little joke about being sued by Marvel. Check it out below!

“IN 5 DAYS, marvel at the invincible IRON BOB when @jayandsilentbob Reboot in a theater near you! (Go to the @fathomevents or the @cineplexmovies for details and theaters!) Making movies has always been a bit about wish fulfillment for me - so as far back as when Silent Bob pulled a Batman off the elevator in #mallrats, I’ve added bits into my flicks that allow me to be my heroes for a moment in a movie. Considering I Bluntsaber battled the one and only @hamillhimself in #jayandsilentbobstrikeback, it’s understandable that I’d wanna climb inside a Mark I knockoff suit (built by @rlkurtzman) and be Tony Stark in #JayAndSilentBobReboot! When previously sharing details on the film’s story, Smith explained:
If you remember Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, it was a movie in which Jay and Silent Bob found out Hollywood was making a movie about them so they went cross country to Hollywood to stop that from happening. Jay and Silent Bob Reboot is completely fucking different. In Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, Jay and Silent Bob find out that Hollywood is making a reboot of that old movie that they had made about them, and they have to go cross the country to Hollywood to stop it all over again. it’s literally the same fucking movie all over again. It’s a movie that makes fun of sequels and remakes and reboots while being all three at the same time.
Jay and Silent Bob Reboot also stars Jason Mewes, Joe Manganiello (True Blood), Craig Robinson (The Office), Frankie Shaw (SMILF), Justin Long (Tusk), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), and Jordan Monsanto, who is a producer of several of Smith’s film projects. Method Man and Redman, Shannon Elizabeth, Jason Biggs, Rosario Dawson, and Molly Shannon will also be in the film. Then there are Flash stars Grant Gustin, Tom Cavanagh, and Carlos Valdes.
Jay and Silent Bob Reboot opens on October 15th. The movie will be released for two days only through Fathom Events, but Smith is also hitting the road with Mewes to screen the movie in various cities with the Reboot Roadshow.
