New JURASSIC WORLD EVOLUTION 2 DLC And Free Update Coming June 14
The new Jurassic World Evolution 2: Dominion Biosyn Expansion is launching on June 14 for £15.99/$19.99/€19.99 on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store and Windows Store, PlayStation5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation4 and Xbox One.
Inspired by events in the upcoming Jurassic World Dominion, the dlc features a new campaign, a new ‘what if’ scenario in Chaos Theory mode, and of course new dinosaurs and skins. Join Claire Dearing (voiced by Bryce Dallas Howard), Dr. Alan Grant (voiced by Sam Neill) and Dr. Ellie Sattler (voiced by Laura Dern) and new head of Biosyn Genetics Lewis Dodgson (voiced by Campbell Scott) as you build a new Research Compound. You’ll get to use the new feature of digging into amber mines to unearth rare genomes to help create feathered prehistoric species never before seen in the Jurassic World Evolution game. Amber mining isn’t the only new feature either.
The expansion will introduce invisible fences and a faster transport system that will allow players to efficiently move staff around their parks. In the new Chaos Theory mode, you’ll be protecting dinosaurs in a snowy Sierra Nevada range where you will get to use the new dinosaur wrangling mechanic to coral herds of dinosaurs without needing to tranquilize and transport them.
And of course, new dinosaurs. You’ll get access to the pyroraptor, theriznosaurus, dimetrodon, and quetzalcoatlus. New skins and variants are being introduced for giganotosaurus, dreadnoughtus, tyrannosaurus rex, dilophosaurus, and parasurolophus.
But that’s not all, there is also a free update coming out for the game. This will include Chaos Theory maps in challenge mode, dinosaur wrangling, better park tour customization, transport changes, and some new quality of life changes such as new contracts and removing building limits on operation buildings in sandbox mode. Lots of fun new stuff is coming for the game soon, you can read more about these updates and expansion and keep up to date with all the changes coming here.
