New Leaked GODZILLA VS. KONG Action Figures Reveals a New Titan
It’s going to be a lot of fun to watch King Kong and Godzilla face off and fight in Godzilla Vs. Kong. Adam Wingard (The Guest, Your Next, Death Note) is directing the film, which is the fourth movie in Legenday’’s monster universe, which also consists of 2014’s Godzilla, 2017’s Kong: Skull Island, and 2019’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
This next movie will see the two iconic giant monsters clash amid a "human conspiracy" to wipe out the giant monsters for good. Here’s the previously released synopsis:
In a time when monsters walk the Earth, humanity’s fight for its future sets Godzilla and Kong on a collision course that will see the two most powerful forces of nature on the planet collide in a spectacular battle for the ages. As Monarch embarks on a perilous mission into uncharted terrain and unearths clues to the Titans’ origins, a human conspiracy threatens to wipe the creatures, both good and bad, from the face of the earth forever.
It was safe to assume that Godzilla and Kong wouldn’t be the only two giant monsters in the movie. Others are sure to show up to wreak some havoc! Thinks to a line of action figures that have leaked, it looks like a couple of these Kaiju have been revealed.
The first batch of merch includes five action figures. Four of them are variations of Godzilla and Kong, the fifth is a character named Nozuki. Nozuki appears to be a reptilian creature with a body resembling that of a snake. It also has wings. Check it out below:
There was also some previously leaked merch that seemed to confirm the fan-favorite Mechagodzilla. That image has since been removed from social media, though.
Introducing new Titans in the film makes sense as it will expand the mythology and get people excited for more giant monster mayhem. It’ll be interesting to see how this Nozuki monster is introduced into the story.
The crossover event stars Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things), Brian Tyree Henry (Atlanta), Rebecca Hall (Iron Man 3), Julian Dennison (Deadpool 2), Danai Gurira (The Walking Dead), Jessica Henwick (Iron Fist), Alexander Skarsgard (True Blood), Shun Oguri (Gintama), Eiza Gonzalez (Baby Driver), Kyle Chandler (Friday Night Lights), Demian Bichir (The Nun), Van Marten (The Walking Dead), and Zhang Ziyi (Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon).
The movie is currently set to be released on November 20th, 2020.
