New LOKI Promo Spot Shows That Loki Didn't Get Far After Trying to Escape in AVENGERS: ENDGAME
We’ve got a couple of new promo spots to share with you for Marvel’s Loki, and they offer us a bit of new footage. Some of this footage from the first spot features what happened to Loki (Tom Hiddleston) after he tried to escape with the Tesseract in Avengers: Endgame.
As you’ll see, Loki doesn’t get far. After escaping, he is almost immediately greeted by the Time Variance Authority in a desert location. He's knocked out and taken to TVA headquarters where Owen Wilson's Mobius M. Mobius greets him to recruit him to help fix a problem that they have with the timeline.
I’ve had the opportunity to watch the first two episodes of the series, and so far it’s a freakin fantastic show! I’m loving it! I’ll have a full, spoiler-free review up soon.
Picking up immediately after Loki steals the Tesseract (again), he finds himself called before the Time Variance Authority, a bureaucratic organization that exists outside of time and space, forced to answer for his crimes against the timeline and given a choice: face deletion from reality or assist in catching an even greater threat.
The series also stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Richard E. Grant, and Sophia Di Martino. The series was directed by Kate Herron, and Michael Waldron is the head writer. The series is set to premiere on June 9th.
