MALEFICENT: MISTRESS OF EVIL Featurette Focuses on Angelina Jolie and New Character Posters

We’ve got some beautiful new posters for you to check out that have been released for the upcoming Disney sequel, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. The posters show off the mistress herself, Angelina Jolie (Girl, Interrupted, Changeling), the beautiful Princess Aurora and her Prince Phillip played by Elle Fanning (I Think We’re Alone Now) and Harris Dickinson (Trust), respectively, Queen Ingrith, played by Michelle Pfeiffer (Ant-Man and the Wasp), the new character Connal, played by Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave), and another final poster of Maleficent in silhouette.

I also included a new behind-the-scenes featurette that highlights Oscar winner Angelina Jolie’s portrayal of the villain.

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is a fantasy adventure that picks up several years after “Maleficent,” in which audiences learned of the events that hardened the heart of Disney’s most notorious villain and drove her to curse a baby Princess Aurora. The film continues to explore the complex relationship between the horned fairy and the soon to be Queen as they form new alliances and face new adversaries in their struggle to protect the moors and the magical creatures that reside within.

I think the thing I liked best about the first film was how beautiful it was, and these posters look like the next film will deliver that same beauty in this new story. Check everything out below, and see Maleficent: Mistress of Evil in theaters on October 18, 2019.
