New Marvel Disney+ SHE-HULK Series Rumors, Including Casting and Career Details

Marvel is working on a ton of new movies and series right now, and fans are getting excited for everything that is coming down the pipeline. One series that is still fairly distant, but that is garnering some talk among fans, is the Disney+ series She-Hulk. What we know so far of the series is that Jessica Gao, known for writing the Nickelodeon series The Mighty B!, as well as episodes of Silicon Valley and Rick and Morty, is on board to write the script based on the character from the comics by Stan Lee.

All that has been officially released about the storyline is that it will follow the character Jennifer Walters as she acquires Hulk-like qualities. No casting news has been officially released. But we do have some rumored details that have been released by theilluminerdi that says the series is looking to cast “She-Hulk’s ‘Best Friend’ and are looking for an actress in the 26 to 28 year-old range.” It says there’s “no name attached to the role or description beyond her relationship to She-Hulk.” The report speculates that this could be the character Jill Stevens, who is best friends with Jennifer in the comics.

They go on to add, “They are also casting for a female character named ‘Meg,’ in the 29 to 35 year-old age range. She is also a lawyer who is described as shrewd, while having a biting wit and humor.” Although the name is Meg, fans would probably compare this character to Mallory Book from the comics, who fits this description as well.

The report also says that Jennifer Walters’s professional career is described as follows- “the logline for the show she is described as being successful in her profession and specifically seeking cases in superheroic law. Furthermore, the description goes on to state that she occasionally throws down in superhero battles as the She-Hulk.”

That makes sense, as that pretty much follows what we know of the comic book character. The series is set to shoot late 2020 through early 2021, and I’m sure we will get more solid information as it gets closer. Are you excited for She-Hulk?
