New Marvel Rumor Claims These SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY Characters Will Appear in AVENGERS: SECRET WARS
Spider-Man: Brand New Day came out last week, and it was an awesome new chapter in the Tom Holland-led Spider-Man saga.
While it pushed Peter Parker’s story forward and left him in a more hopeful place than the last film, it didn’t exactly tie the character to the upcoming Avengers films like I thought it might.
In fact, the stars of the movie haven’t been confirmed for for Doomsday or Secret Wars, but a new rumor claims we will see them return in Secret Wars, ahead of another Spider-Man film.
According to MTTSH Jon Bernthal will return as Frank Castle/The Punisher alongside Spider-Man: Brand New Day cast-mates Tom Holland (Peter Parker), Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner/The Hulk), and Sadie Sink.
Bernthal’s Frank and Holland’s Peter really bonded in this film, and I’d love to see them team-up again. If you’ve seen the film, you can guess that Sadie Sink is obviously going to return sooner than later. And what’s an Avengers movie without the Hulk, or Spider-Man for that matter?
This just makes sense to me, so while many rumors are outlandish, I think this is easy to believe, and I am excited to see them return!
