Marvel Rumor Claims to Reveal Daredevil's Level of Participation in Episodes of ECHO Series and Costume Details
Last Christmas, we got to enjoy the Hawkeye series on Disney+, which gave us a first look at the character Maya Lopez, aka Echo (Alaqua Cox), ahead of her self-titled spin-off series next year. She turned out to be a badass character in the series, and her ties to Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin, made fans more excited to see what’s in store for her storyline.
Where there’s Kingpin, fans feel confident that Daredevil isn’t far away, and since Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil, has returned to the MCU via Spider-Man: No Way Home, we are all anticipating his full-fledged return, and Echo seems like the most natural place to make that happen, aside from his own new Daredevil series that’s in development.
While we haven’t been given a whole lot of details about how this upcoming chapter is going to play out, a new rumor has dropped about Daredevil’s involvement in Echo.
Weekly Planet (via MCU Direct/CB) had a segment where scooper James Clement claimed to know that Charlie Cox's Daredevil will be in Echo for three episodes, and he also talked about Daredevil and Kingpin’s appearances in the show:
"Yep, Daredevil is in it for three episodes, as in Charlie Cox. Kingpin, Vinnie D'Onofrio is in four. The Kingpin storyline is building up to him running for mayor of New York City. Apparently, he's going to be wearing an eye patch because he was shot in the head in Hawkeye... Daredevil is also going to be rocking a red and black suit and is looking for Jessica Jones."
The conversation goes on to speculate how Echo is laying larger groundwork for the Marvel Netflix Universe as a whole to be integrated into the MCU. It will be cool to see how it all plays out. I can’t wait to see Charlie Cox back as Daredevil, and I think the Echo story is going to be awesome to delve into. Are you looking forward to seeing Daredevil and Jessica Jones back on our screens?
