New MONSTER HUNTER Teaser Trailer Offers First Look at Ron Perlman and Palico
Below you’ll find a new teaser trailer for director Paul WS Anderson’s fun-looking action-adventure film Monster Hunter. The new trailer reveals the film version of the feline species Palico and it also offers a first look at Ron Perlman’s character.
The film’s story follows Milla Jovovich as Artemis and a small squad of soldiers who find themselves being transported to another realm that is inhabited by giant creatures and they’ve got to fight them! They team up with a warrior in this realm named Hunter (Tony Jaa). Together they engage in battle against the monsters to close a portal to prevent the monsters from going through and invading earth.
This movie actually looks like it could be a lot of fun. Here’s the synopsis:
Behind our world, there is another: a world of dangerous and powerful monsters that rule their domain with deadly ferocity. When an unexpected sandstorm transports Captain Artemis and her unit to a new world, the soldiers are shocked to discover that this hostile and unknown environment is home to enormous and terrifying monsters immune to their firepower. In their desperate battle for survival, the unit encounters the mysterious Hunter (Tony Jaa), whose unique skills allow him to stay one step ahead of the powerful creatures. As Artemis and Hunter slowly build trust, she discovers that he is part of a team led by the Admiral. Facing a danger so great it could threaten to destroy their world, the brave warriors combine their unique abilities to band together for the ultimate showdown.
The movie also stars T.I. Harris (Ant-Man and The Wasp), Diego Boneta (Luis Miguel, Rock of Ages), Meagan Good (Code Black), and Josh Helman (X-Men: Days of Future Past).
Monster Hunter is set to be released in theaters on December 25th, 2020.
