New MORTAL KOMBAT Video Celebrates 30 Years Of Bloody Fun

Warner Bros. Games and NetherRealm Studios are happy to be celebrating the 30th anniversary of the iconic Mortal Kombat franchise. Starting with the original arcade game launch on October 8, 1992, the franchise has gone on to make tons of game, animated series, and movies with no end in sight. The latest entry in the series, Mortal Kombat 11 has sold 15 million copies while Mortal Kombat Mobile has gotten more than 150 million downloads. Those who have the mobile game should login everyday from now until October 14 for free anniversary gifts.

As part of the anniversary, a new video has been released showcasing the franchise’s many different media forms across the years. Bringing together moments from the original Mortal Kombat game to Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, Mortal Kombat movie (1995) and the Mortal Kombat movie (2021) the video is really fun to watch. I’ve never been a big Mortal Kombat fan, but even I enjoyed seeing how the franchise has grown over the years. If you’re a fan definitely check out the video below and enjoy seeing how the absolute carnage of the games has evolved over the years.
