NEW MUTANTS and DEADPOOL 2 Have Reportedly Wrapped Production

It looks as if both Deadpool 2 and New Mutants have wrapped production ahead of their 2019 releases. Deadpool 2 will introduce mutants like Cable (Josh Brolin) and Domino (Zazie Beetz) while New Mutants will introduce audiences to a group of teen mutants, such as Anya Taylor-Joy as Magik, Maisie Williams as Wolfsbane, Charlie Heaton as Cannonball, Blu Hunt as Dani Moonstar, and Henry Zaga as Sunspotboth will hit theaters next year.

Thanks to Ryan Reynolds and his social media accounts and the fact that Deadpool 2 shot a number of outdoor scenes this summer, we’ve had plenty of behind-the-scenes looks into the filming of the movie. But on the other side of the spectrum, we haven't seen anything from New Mutants despite that it was filming at the same time. This could mean that most of the movie was shot in a studio allowing Fox to more tightly control what’s been revealed. Now, it looks like all of that could change.

Deadline reported that both Deadpool 2 and New Mutants have wrapped filming, both movies have had short production schedules, giving them more than enough time to handle post-production before they arrive in theaters next year.

This could mean that we might start to see and hear more about these movies with upcoming marketing campaigns. For director David Leitch's Deadpool 2, we do know a lot, but we still don't know about things like a synopsis, news on the villain.

Director Josh Boone's New Mutants, has a spring release date, so in the coming weeks, it is very likely that we may get images of the cast in costume and possibly a teaser. Many people think New York Comic Con next month may serve as the perfect venue to unveil teasers for both films.
