New ONE-PUNCH MAN Season 3 Trailer Teases More Epic Battles Ahead of January 2027 Return

Saitama is getting ready to throw more punches! One-Punch Man Season 3 is officially returning in January 2027, and a new trailer gives fans their first look at the action coming in the second half of the season.

With the Monster Association Saga heating up and some massive battles on the horizon, there's plenty for anime fans to get excited about.

The new trailer and poster were revealed during New York Comic Con 2026, offering a preview of One-Punch Man Season 3 Part 2. The footage also features the new opening theme, “Never Done -SUPREME POWER VS ULTIMATE FEAR-,” performed by JAM Project.

Of course, there's a big question hanging over the upcoming episodes. Will the animation deliver? One-Punch Man has had a rough time winning over fans since its incredible first season.

The anime is celebrating its 10th anniversary, but much of the conversation surrounding the series has focused on the noticeable difference in animation quality between its debut season and everything that followed.

Season 3, which aired its first batch of episodes in 2025, received its share of criticism as well. While some viewers considered it an improvement over Season 2, others were disappointed with how the action was handled. Despite those complaints, the anime continued pulling in impressive viewership numbers.

Now, the second half of Season 3 has another opportunity to win fans over, especially with some of the biggest fights in the Monster Association Saga still to come.

The story, adapted from the original work by ONE, features an all-out conflict between the Hero Association's strongest fighters and the terrifying monsters threatening humanity. The Monster Association Saga is the longest storyline in the series, and things are only going to get crazier as the battles escalate.

The S-Class Heroes will face some seriously powerful enemies, with Tatsumaki expected to get one of the biggest showcases in the upcoming episodes. There's also the growing anticipation surrounding Garou and his eventual confrontation with Saitama, although it's unclear how far the story will progress when the anime returns.

As for the production, Shinpei Nagai is returning to direct the new episodes at J.C. Staff, with Tomohiro Suzuki handling series composition and Makoto Miyazaki composing the music. Character designs are being handled by Chikashi Kubota, Shinjiro Kuroda, and Ryosuke Shirakawa.

The returning creative team may concern fans who weren't happy with the previous episodes, but the upcoming fights offer a chance for the series to deliver the kind of spectacular action that made One-Punch Man such a hit in the first place.

One-Punch Man Season 3 Part 2 is scheduled to premiere in January 2027 as part of the Winter 2027 anime lineup. An exact release date and streaming platform haven't been announced yet.

In the meantime, fans can catch up on the existing episodes on Hulu, where the anime is available with both Japanese and English audio.

With Tatsumaki preparing for a major battle, Garou becoming an even bigger threat, and Saitama still capable of ending just about any fight with a single punch, the next batch of episodes has plenty of potential.

Hopefully, the animation can give these fights the treatment they deserve. Check out the new trailer below!
