New One Shot Written By Marisha Ray and Grant Howitt Coming Out For Free RPG Day

Darrington Press has partnered with Free RPG Day to announce a new one shot game for your friends, A Familiar Problem. Written by Critical Role’s Marish Ray and tabletop designer Grant Howitt you will play as a scrappy and stressed out group of familiars out to prove you are up for helping your adventurers by going on a quest of your own. That premise sounds hilarious and a great one shot to take a break from your main campaign. You can pick up a free copy at your local game store participating in Free RPG day on June 25 (July 23 internationally), or you can wait for the wider digital release later this year.

Not convinced? Ray will be running this game in a one shot titled A Familiar Problem: Sprinkle’s Incredible Journey! Players will be Laura Bailey, Matthew Mercer, Travis Willingham, Heidi N Closet, and Isabella Roland. You can catch what is sure to be an incredibly funny and chaotic game on June 23 at 7 PM PT on Critical Role’s Twitch and YouTube channels or in podcast for a week after airing.
