PEACEMAKER Gets a New Clip and Promo Video That Gets Fans Caught Up on the Story So Far
DC has released a new clip and featurette for James Gunn’s HBO Max series Peacemaker. In the clip, Peacemaker explains the importance of having his "dove of peace" logo emblazoned on all of his weapons saying that he's unable to kill with a weapon that doesn't have the dove of peace logo.
The featurette is titled “The Story So Far,” and it gets fans caught up on the character’s story so far. Most of that story comes from The Suicide Squad. The recap is done in an amusing way with stars John Cena and Jennifer Holland.
I’ve been seeing a lot of positive buzz on the show from those who have already seen it, and it seems like anyone who’s a fan of Gunn’s The Suicide Squad is going to enjoy this spinoff story.
Peacemaker is described as being an action-adventure comedy, and it will “explore the origins of Peacemaker, a man who believes in peace at any cost, no matter how many people he has to kill to get it.”
The series also stars Steve Agee as Economos, Chukwudi Iwuji as Murn, Danielle Brooks as Adebayo, and Freddie Stroma as Vigilante. Peacemaker premieres on January 13th, 2022, on HBO Max.
