New Photo From GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS, New Trailer Is Expected Soon

Legendary Pictures has released a new photo of Godzilla on a rampage in the upcoming Michael Dougherty-directed film Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

It was also announced that new footage from the film will debut at Tokyo Comic-Con on Saturday, December 1st. There’s a lot of speculation that this will be the second trailer for the film and that it will be released online around the same time it premieres in Japan (So look for it sometime on Friday, given the whole International Date Line thing). That has not been confirmed, but we hope that it’s true. It’s be great to see a new trailer!

While we wait to see what happens, enjoy the photo above, watch the previously released trailer here, and let us know if you’re excited for this movie! Here’s the synopsis:

The new story follows the heroic efforts of the cryptozoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient superspecies, thought to be mere myths, rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity's very existence hanging in the balance.

Godzilla: King of Monsters stars Millie Bobby Brown, Vera Farmiga, Kyle ChandlerKen Watanabe, and Sally Hawkins. It will be in theaters on May 31, 2019.
