New Photo From STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER Features Keri Russell's Character Zorii

Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we have a new photo to share with you from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. That photo gives us a new look at Keri Russell’s character Zorii Bliss.

We don’t know exactly how she will fit into this story, but we do have some background information on the character thanks to Wookipiedidia.

“Zorii Bliss is a human female scoundrel native to the frigid planet Kijimi. She was the leader of the Spice Runners of Kijimi. During the war between the First Order and the Resistance, Bliss was neutral and spent time in Kijimi's Thieves' Quarter.” It was also confirmed that Zorii is an "old friend" of Poe Dameron.

When previously talking about reunited with J.J. Abrams on Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Russell said:

“It is just so much more fun to work with someone that you like so much. I mean, we see each other and then we talk nonstop and fill in all the details of the past years, and you know, it’s just nice when you have that kind of fun and history with someone. It makes it all that much more enjoyable. When J.J. calls so unexpectedly, cool things happen.”

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters on December 20th.
