New Photo From the Set of STAR WARS: EPISODE IX Revealed
For those of you wanting to get a glimpse at one of the sets of J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: Episode IX, here's a photo that was shared by the director of photography Dan Mindel! It shows us an elaborate set built on a soundstage with some interesting structures being built. You can take a look at the photo below:
It's hard to even speculate what this set is supposed to be, but we'll eventually find out. Mindel has worked with Abrams on several of his film projects including The Last Jedi, so it's not surprising that Abrams would want to bring him back on for another Star Wars adventure. I would love to visit the set of a Star Wars film!
We have no idea what to expect from this final chapter of the Skywalker saga but I'm excited to see the direction that Abrams takes it. It better give us a satisfying conclusion!
Star Wars: Episode IX stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, Billie Lourd, Richard E. Grant, Naomi Ackie, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Billy Dee Williams, and Carrie Fisher.
The movie is shooting at London’s Pinewood Studios and it's scheduled for release on December 20, 2019.
