New Photos For BILL & TED FACE THE MUSIC Feature The Title Characters and Their Daughters
Thanks to Total Film we have a few new images to share with you from Bill & Ted Face the Music. The covers of the magazine shows the film’s main characters, Ted "Theodore" Logan (Keanu Reeves) and Bill S. Preston Esq. (Alex Winter) traveling through time and space in a phone booth. One of the other photos offers a new look at Samara Weaving (Ready or Not) and Brigette Lundy-Paine (Atypical) as Bill and Ted’s daughters. We also get to see Bill and Ted all buffed out in prison.
In the film, the Wyld Stallions are now fathers and have yet to fulfill their rock ‘n’ roll destinies. The movie was directed by Dean Parisot (Galaxy Quest) from a script written by original franchise screenwriters Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon. Here’s the synopsis:
Following 1989’s Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and 1991’s Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, the stakes are higher than ever for William “Bill” S. Preston Esq. (Winter) and Theodore “Ted” Logan (Reeves). Yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, the now middle-aged best friends set out on a new adventure, when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it and bring harmony to the universe. Along the way, they will be helped by their families, old friends and a few music legends.
The film will also feature Anthony Carrigan (Barry), Jillian Bell (Workaholics), Kristen Schaal (Toy Story 4), Holland Taylor (Gloria Bell), Kid Cudi, Erinn Hayes, Jayma Mays, and Beck Bennet. William Sadler also returns as Death alongside franchise returners Amy Stoch and Hal London Jr.
The film is still scheduled to be released in theaters on August 21, 2020.
